Position Title: MLT/MT
Department: Lab
Employment Type: Full-time, 6pm-6am -Friday/Saturday/Sunday
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs and provides medical Lab support service involving patients in following age groups: Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. including routine testing, obtaining and processing specimens, reviewing and planning workload, reviewing testing results, quality control procedures, proficiency testing, inventory control, ordering of supplies, back up call, dispersal of lab results in a proper and timely manner, and projects relating to the lab or assigned.
GOAL: All testing personnel are responsible for ensuring that the tests performed in the laboratory are technically accurate, precise and valid and that all regulatory needs are met regarding technical performance of Laboratory testing. They are responsible for the appropriate handling of all results and customers in a professional manner consistent with Cooperate values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training or Experience:
Bachelor degree Science, Associate degree Science, or Associate degree in Applied Science.
MT (ASCP) or equivalent, MLT (ASCP), (AMT), NCA, or equivalent.
