Crittenden Community Hospital offers diagnostic imaging services to help your healthcare provider evaluate symptoms, diagnose conditions, and guide your care. Our team helps you understand what to expect and supports you throughout your exam.
Our Imaging Services
• X-ray: General diagnostic imaging.
• Computed Tomography (CT): Detailed cross-sectional images of the body.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): Detailed images using magnetic fields and radio waves.
• Mobile Mammography: Offered on the second Monday of each month in partnership with Owensboro Health.
• Bone Density Testing (DXA): Measures bone density to help evaluate bone health.
• Ultrasound: Including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies.
• Nuclear Medicine: Imaging that helps evaluate how organs and tissues function.
• Echocardiography: Ultrasound imaging of the heart.

A healthcare provider’s order is required for imaging exams.
Call 270-965-1070 for scheduling assistance, preparation instructions, or questions about our services, including mobile mammography.
Providers may fax orders to 270-965-1072.

Our Imaging Team
Our radiologic technologists have completed accredited radiography programs and passed a national board examination. They participate in continuing education to maintain and build their professional knowledge and skills.
Supporting Future Healthcare Professionals
Crittenden Community Hospital serves as a clinical education site for the radiography program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah, Kentucky. Students gain hands-on learning experience alongside qualified technologists in a working imaging department.
We also partner with Crittenden County High School to give high school seniors opportunities to shadow healthcare professionals. These experiences help students explore healthcare careers and make informed decisions about their education.
