Caring for a wound that won't heal is a difficult job. If not treated properly, seemingly minor wounds may get worse. The causes of open wounds are sometimes very complex and challenging.

In some cases, healing a wound could be as simple as a medication change, and in other more complex situations, debridement's, biological skin substitutes and hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be needed to heal wounds. The team at the Mission Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center works together to design an individualized treatment program based on your medical history and the severity of your wound.
